Welcome to CariCom Pros. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by CariCom Pros ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms

CariCom Pros is a marketplace platform that connects customers seeking services with independent service professionals ("Contractors") across the Caribbean. We provide a platform for:
- Customers to post service requests and receive quotes
- Contractors to find jobs and submit quotes
- Communication between customers and contractors
- Reviews and ratings to build trust
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information as needed
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our Service.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:

- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content

5. Contractor Terms
If you register as a Contractor, you additionally agree to:

- Perform services professionally and in a timely manner
- Honor the quotes and commitments you make
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Contractors are independent contractors, not employees of CariCom Pros. We do not control how contractors perform their services.
6. Customer Terms
If you register as a Customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate job descriptions and requirements
- Communicate respectfully with contractors
- Pay for services as agreed with contractors
- Provide honest and fair reviews
7. Transactions Between Users
CariCom Pros facilitates connections between customers and contractors but is not a party to any agreement between them. We are not responsible for:
- The quality of services provided by contractors
- Disputes between customers and contractors
- Payment issues between users
- Any damages resulting from services performed
8. Fees and Payments
Creating an account on CariCom Pros is free. We may charge fees for certain premium features or transactions. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you incur them.
9. Reviews and Ratings
Users may leave reviews and ratings for completed jobs. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on actual experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms or our guidelines.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CariCom Pros and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
11. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post on our Service. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating the Service.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARICOM PROS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CariCom Pros and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
15. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Caribbean jurisdiction in which CariCom Pros operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
18. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
